Our Mission

i2i benefits was built with a laser focus on one simple idea - ridiculous service.

With extensive experience consulting with employers on their Employee Benefits and Retirement Plans, Nate and Dan imagined building a firm with the ability to provide each client with their own unique experience. An employer’s employee benefits package is typically the second largest business expense and a sales rep, consultant, or website may not be the answer the employer needs to reach their goals of offering a competitive and cost effective benefits package. Then on top of that, provide the employer with the efficiency of technology and ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations correctly. 

Employers need a business partner who takes the time to understand their business, employee culture, and strategy. As a business partner, i2i benefits integrates technology and personal service to provide custom consulting, plan documents, and employee communication for a seamless client experience.

The best way to understand i2i benefits is to speak with our clients and we value the fact that each of our employee benefits clients is available as a reference.

That’s what we want to hear from our clients. At i2i, we encourage our clients to ask us anything and if we don’t know the answer, we’ll find it. As a business partner, we see our role as an extension of your team so it is our job to assist our clients in anything they need. Beyond Employee Benefits and Retirement Plan consulting, this can be reviewing new technology, HR compliance topics, industry trends, and many other topics.

I don’t get it, how does my plan work and do I need to pay this claim?
Don’t call the insurance company, send it to i2i. Your employees are a valuable component of our partnership and our job is to work as their advocate to fix claims and explain their benefits so they can get back to work. Dealing with insurance companies is one of the leading stressors in life so give it to i2i, we are here to take care of your employees and provide them with ridiculously good service.

Dan's vision is to bridge his experience within employee benefits consulting, compliance administration, and financial consulting to create a unique experience for employers. With a range of experience working with large national employers to the fast-paced start-up, Dan's market experience proves to be an invaluable resource to employers. As he strives to break the mold in what you expect from a broker, Dan partners with his clients to provide executive-level plan design recommendations and financial analysis, day-to-day support to the HR team, and one-on-one guidance to employees.

After receiving his BS at the University of California, Los Angeles, Dan worked as a Senior Associate at a medical billing consulting firm and as an Account Executive at an employee benefits brokerage group. He is currently licensed as a California Life and Accident and Health agent.

Nate's ultimate goal when working with plan sponsors and participants is to break down industry barriers to provide honest information about the products and services being offered. His experience at large and mid-sized brokerage firms has given Nate a unique insight into a vast array of products and plan designs that few advisors have in the retirement plan industry. By utilizing his knowledge and experience he has gained over the past 17 years in the industry, he is able to provide a level of specialized service appreciated by plan sponsors, participants, and vendors.

After receiving his BS in Economics at San Jose State University, Nate has worked exclusively in the retirement industry with a particular focus on 401(k) and 403(b) plans. He is currently licensed as a California Life agent and holds Series 7, 6, and 63. registrations with LPL Financial; Series 65 is held with Global Retirement Partners.
